Ghosting You for a Year

I’m truly sorry for ghosting you over the past year. I recognize that my sudden absence must have been incredibly hurtful and confusing. You deserved better communication and respect, and I failed to provide that when I cut off contact without any explanation. I’ve thought a lot about how my actions affected you. I can only imagine the feelings of rejection and anger you must have experienced, wondering what went wrong or if you did something to push me away. The truth is, I didn’t handle my own feelings well and chose to withdraw instead of being honest about what I was going through. That’s entirely on me, and I regret not being brave enough to have the difficult conversations we needed. Moving forward, I want to make it clear that I’m committed to being more open and communicative, whether it’s about my feelings or just checking in regularly.
